This Privacy Policy describes how SoftHub Systems GmbH ("SoftHub", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and discloses your Personal Data when you use our software licensing API, billing infrastructure, and related services (the "Services").

1. Compliance with GDPR and BDSG

As a company headquartered in Germany, SoftHub strictly adheres to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). We act as a Data Processor for the end-users of our B2B clients, and as a Data Controller for the account information of our clients.

2. Data We Collect

Account Information: Name, business email address, company name, and billing details.
Technical Data: IP addresses, browser types, API request logs, and hardware identifiers (HWID) used strictly for node-locked license validation.
Payment Information: Processed securely via our third-party PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways. SoftHub does not store full credit card numbers on our servers.

3. How We Use Your Data

We process your data to provide our API services, validate cryptographic licenses, prevent software piracy, and manage automated recurring billing. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain Personal Data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy or as required by EU commercial and tax laws (e.g., HGB and AO), which typically mandate a 10-year retention period for billing records. You may request deletion of your account data by contacting our Data Protection Officer (DPO).
